Freelance translators & proofreaders
WorldLingo is looking for good freelance translators to join our team. We have two categories of translator: generalist or specialist. We will only use you for translation into your native tongue and for projects that are targeted for the country in which you reside. Here are the minimum requirements for each:
Freelance Translator or Proofreader Generalist
- 5 years continuous translation experience in a commercial environment
- Membership of the professional translation association in your country of residence
- A university degree from a recognized institution
- A copy of Trados 5 Freelance or better
Freelance Translator or Proofreader Specialist
You must meet all the requirements for a Generalist as set out above plus:
- A university degree in your area of specialty
- 2 years continuous translation experience in your area of specialty
