Microsoft Office XP is multilingual

The power of WorldLingo's translation service has been integrated into Microsoft Office XP, the latest release of the popular Office software

All Office customers will have access to WorldLingo's specialist online translation services, which provide translations for single words, phrases and entire documents using a unique combination of either fast machine translation or professional human translation.

The translation services will be available through Tools on the Web, which is accessed through the Tools menu of all Office XP applications. The Microsoft Office eServices are offered on the Tools on the Web site, where customers can perform machine translation, or upload a document for human translation.

In Microsoft Word 2002, the translation feature is displayed in a task pane, after it is selected from the Tools menu.

Customers can choose between translating the entire document, a selected piece of text or uploading the document for human translation.

Microsoft General Manager Jeff Olund said "We're constantly looking for ways to offer additional value and opportunities to our Office customers, and this service is a great addition to Microsoft Office XP."

WorldLingo Chairman Phil Scanlan said, "Our goal is to make it easy for companies to communicate and do business in international markets. The integration of our expert translation services into Office applications will be very useful for businesses with a worldwide customer base. Businesses that receive documents presented in another language will be able to ascertain quickly whether the content is important by using our integrated machine translations. They can then make an informed decision to download the document for professional translation by one of WorldLingo's team of translators."

WorldLingo has access to over 4,000 specialist medical, legal, and corporate translators, and professional translations are available in over 40 languages
