AstraZeneca receives WorldLingo Multilingual Email Award
AstraZeneca (AZN) has been awarded a WorldLingo Email Excellence Award, after it was the fastest UK company to respond to an email written in a foreign language.
WorldLingo conducted a survey of over 200 of the World's largest companies.
Each company was sent an email in a foreign language to gauge whether they had the multilingual capabilities to reply to the message.
Only 9% of the world's companies replied, with AstraZeneca making it into the world top ten (second place) by responding in the time of 3 hours and 50 minutes. Only two other UK companies responded, Unilever (UN) and Kingfisher.
